An Emerging Restaurant Company
Situation:
The company had grown from one unit to three units
in a matter of months and things were out of
control. Key managers were quitting due to the
chaotic environment, and the guest experience and
sales were suffering.
Solution:
The Cultivation Corps was hired to lead the
management team to achieve stability and operational
success. The first step was getting out of automatic
thinking by putting tools and processes in place
that eliminated the day-to-day chaos that the staff
found so toxic. Once operations were stabilized we
focused on crafting a vision of the future, and
involving the leadership in creating a strategy and
course of action to grow the business. Once the
strategy was developed, we met weekly with
leadership to ensure execution.
Results:
The unit level sales doubled in the first year and
have continued substantial annual growth for the
last five years. Unit management turnover dropped
significantly and has remained minimal with 50% of
unit-level management remaining with the company
over the last five years.
